Description
Date powder or date sugar is a sweetener that is made from dried dates and comes in the form of powder by grinding. First of all, the high quality dates are picked (hand-picked dates) and they are washed carefully. After removing the seeds, the dates are dried in a two-step process. In this process the moisture content of the dates is minimized, so the shelf life of final product is longer. After drying, depending on the type of order, it can be turned into powder in fine or coarse size by the grinding machine. The whole process is carried out according to Iran National Standards Organization (INSO) and international standards (HACCP, Halal, ISO 22000). The final product is a natural and healthy alternative or a complementary of white and brown sugar in recipes.
